The Need
at Perry Assembly, we believe no family should have to choose between groceries and school supplies. Our annual Back to School Bash provides fully stocked backpacks, classroom supplies for teachers, and a day of community celebration, completely FREE for families in and around our area.
Last year, we served over 200 families and over 400 children walked away ready for their first day. Here are just 2 comments we want to share with you from last years event. One mother drove over 32 miles from Flint Michigan to reach the even and said “I drove all the way from Flint, and I left with 4 backpacks fully stocked for my kids. For the first time in years, I didn’t have to buy anything!” – Anonymous Parent 1
Or this comment from another anonymous parent “I called 2 weeks after the event and they still helped me with 2 backpacks fully stocked. They even made sure they were pink and purple for my girls”” – Anonymous Parent

How You Can Help

Individual & Family Giving
Single Donation – Any Amount
Every dollar counts. Your gift goes directly to purchasing supplies.
Individual Sponsor – $30 – $55
Provide one fully stocked backpack for a child in need
Multi-Sponsor – $150 – $275 Cover 5 backpacks and help a handful of neighbors start strong
Community & Business Partners
Class Sponsor – $300 – $550
Equip an entire classroom with 10 fully stocked backpacks.
Recognition: Logo on sponsor page, event banner and printed program
School Hero – $600 or more
Donate 20 ore more backpacks and become a cornerstone of this event.
Recognition: Logo on sponsor page, event banner, event tshirt, social media features, Certificate of Recognition for your office
School & Classroom Support
School Sponsor – $150 – $500 per school level
Choose to support Elementary, Middle, Highschool or All three! Each level receives a customized supply box tailored to that schools needs.
Recognition: Logo on sponsor page and event banner
Classroom Sponsor – $150 – $300 per classroom
Provide essential teacher supplies: Pens, Pencils, highlighters, paper, paper towels, and more.
Recognition: Name or logo on sponsor page and event program

- Accountability: After the event, we will share an update with all sponsors the following information
- 1) How many families and children were helped
- 2) Total dollar amount raised
- 3) Total dollar amount spent on supplies
- Confirmation of any left over funds being added to a long term CD to earn interest for next years event, further highlighting all donations to the program stay with the program.
